Camp Policies

Financial Policies
All fund are fully refundable if requested before two weeks before camp starts. If a refund is requested after this date, please contact us for a partial refund.

Last minute registration will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

New Church ministers who are serving as staff are exempt from payment, but payment will be needed for any spouse and children attending camp.

Children
All children and teens must sleep in their family’s cabin. If you are bringing children have just completed 5th grade or younger, you must have two responsible adults to share in their supervision. Single adults are certainly welcome to come to Laurel with their children. A second responsible adult is needed to supervise your children while you are in groups. If you do not have a 2nd adult, please indicate that on your registration and we will help you find a second adult.

Teens

We have changed the minimum age and maximum ages of teen group to grade levels. To be part of the teen group, the teen needs to have completed 6th grade to enter. Teens that are going into their senior year of high school are considered a part of the teen group. For example, we may have a 12 year old that has completed 6th grade that is allowed to be in teen group. And we could have a 19 year old senior. High school graduates/equivalent is considered an adult. *When paying for registration, we do consider 12 year old’s at 1/2 cost.(Short Folk). If you have questions contact us.

Additional Children, Teens, and Guests
If you are planning to bring anyone who is not part of your immediate family unit (friends, guests, young adult children, teens, and children), please have them fill out a separate registration form. Parents who send their children/ teens with someone else should understand this is a personal decision. The adult that brings the additional children/ teens have complete responsibility for them- including sick care, discipline, etc. Laurel does not arrange rides or find adults to accept responsibility for children/ teens who come to Laurel without their parents.
